How do I book one of your excursions?
Go to the " Routes " page or to the " Home ", select the route you prefer, read the description, select the date, the number of people and complete the booking form
Please double check that your details are correct and enter all the required information and your preferred payment method (debit card, credit card or PayPal) to complete your booking.
You will receive a confirmation email and by the day before the excursion you will receive the geolocalized digital map of the routes, along with simple instructions for installing it on your phone.
Does your service include a guided tour?
No, our services include:
- Outward transport from Scanno and Villalago to the starting point of the chosen trail.
- The geolocalized map of the trails of Scanno and its surroundings, also available offline.
- Return transport from the excursion arrival point to Scanno and Villalago.
Our concept is to give you the freedom to enjoy the excursion at your own pace, without having to follow anyone and taking breaks when you want. We use a shared shuttle service to make it more accessible and convenient.
Where are customers picked up and dropped off?
You can choose between 2 meeting points:

Is it safe to hike without a guide?
Yes, it is completely safe. You have to be careful and use common sense as in any other excursion. But it is not dangerous to go without a guide for several reasons:
- Along the paths we propose there are both the classic white and red signs, as well as wooden signs, easy to read and follow.
- You will have at your disposal the geolocalized map, also available offline. With this you will always be able to know where on the trail you are and if you are off track.
- During your transfer you will meet other people with whom you can choose to share the excursion. The choice is yours.
Can I book one of your excursions via message or call and pay in cash or by card upon collection?
No. The booking must be made on our website and paid online by debit card, credit card or PayPal.
We do not accept payments at the time of collection to avoid last minute cancellations and no-shows.
Are the animals that can be encountered along the trails dangerous?
No, the animals that can be encountered along the paths are not aggressive. They are more afraid of the human presence and react by running away.
Since human presence in these natural territories always has an impact on the local fauna, we recommend consulting the manual for observing in nature of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park (PNALM).
Can I get a full refund if I decide to cancel my booking?

Can I get a discount if I book for a group?
Yes, we reserve a special price for groups of 6 and 10 people. See the Routes pages to learn more.
What happens if the weather conditions are extremely adverse?

Is the time you allow enough to complete the hike?
Yes, the time we allow is more than enough to complete the proposed excursions calmly, allowing several breaks to drink and eat or to take photos and videos.
As explained on the Paths pages, these have the following durations:
- 2.20 hours of walking to complete the Frazioni d'Abruzzo Trail, and we leave 4.30 hours of time;
- About 4 hours of walking from Scanno to Passo Godi, if you choose the longest route. And we leave 5.30 hours of time;
- About 5 hours of walking from Scanno to Pescasseroli, and we leave 8.30 hours of time.
Can I book only the return trip with you and pay less?
No, for logistical reasons we do not offer this type of "partial" service.
